A seven-member delegation led by Dr.David Molden from the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) paid a visit to the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR) on February 14, 2012.

Dr David Molden introduced ICIMOD’s strategy

IGSNRR director LIU Yi demonstrated IGSNRR’s research progress and directed the research focus of IGSNRR for the coming years . And Dr David Molden introduced ICIMOD’s strategy and program framework. He further delivered a report on “ICIMOD’s Future Program Direction: China Country Consultation”.

The two sides also had an extensive discussion on a range of issues including energy, food security, green economy, management policy.
