Professor. Vice Chair of the Academic Committee of the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, CAS; Chair of the Academic Committee of the Institutes of Science and Development, CAS. Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He was elected as academician of CAS in 2025.
