Prof. ZHENG Du

Leading scientist. Prof ZHENG has dedicated years to the comprehensive study of physical geography, specializing in plateau and mountain regions in China. He has made significant contributions to the studies on the natural environment of the Tibetan Plateau and its regional differentiations from both the theoretical and methodological perspectives. He was elected as academician of CAS in 1999.
