Advanced Training Workshop on Ecosystem--based Adaptation in Arid Areas Concluded Successfully
An advanced training workshop on ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) in arid areas was successfully held in Beijing from 10 to 21 October 2016 as National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC) launched a series of training workshops for developing countries to implement the capacity building initiatives announced by Chinese President Xi Jinping during 21st Conference of Parties (COP 21) in Paris last year and to promote South-South Cooperation on Climate Change.
The advanced training workshop was sponsored by NDRC and organized by Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) with technical support of UNEP International Ecosystem Management Partnership (UNEP-IEMP) and Chinese Ecosystem Research Network (CERN).
