The International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) is a worldwide confederation of agricultural economists and others concerned with agricultural economic problems, including problems related to the use of renewable resources and the environment.

The President of IAAE, Professor Johan Swinnen, presented its 2015 IAAE Honorary Life Member Award to Professor HUANG Jikun, director of Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy (CCAP), Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, at the Gala Dinner of the Conference in Milan, Italy on August 13, 2015.

The award is presented during each of the triennial IAAE Conference to a member who has made outstanding contribution to the field of agricultural economics, and the society as a whole. Since its establishment in 1973, the IAAE Honorary Life Member Award has been presented to 67 scholars around the world.
