During their visit Prof. ZhOU Chenghu, deputy director of IGSNRR, gave a welcome remark and Dr. ZHANG Ming, deputy head of Research Management Department of IGSNRR, gave an introduction of IGSNRR. Dr. Mosaad Kotb Kotb Hassanein presented their research work related to impact of climate change on agricultural production in Egypt. Dr. LI Yunsheng presented their research on reclamation of land with saline, water-logging and wind-erosion soils in the North China Plain. Scientists from IGSNRR and Egyptian discussed the cooperation areas for the future. The Egyptian scientist also visited Central Lab and Exhibition Hall of IGSNRR, CAS. Through this visit the cooperative relationship between two institutes was enhanced, and long-term research cooperation areas on impact of global climate change on agricultural production become clearer.
