International Symposium on Spatial Data Handling (SDH), one of the oldest GIS conferences, is a biennial international research forum for GIScience. It commenced in 1984 in Zurich, Switzerland, and has been held in more than ten countries ever since. The 17th SDH will be held on 18-20 August 2016 in Beijing, China. You are welcome to submit papers.

You are cordially invited to submit paper or abstract at http://www.sdh2016.org. All submissions will be peer-reviewed. Full papers of the accepted papers are required. Some selected papers will be included in the proceeding published by Springer. The topics include, but are not limited to, the followings:
l Big Geographical Data storage and search
l Data-Intensive Geospatial Computing
l Geographic knowledge discovery and data mining
l Visualization of Big Geographical Data
l Big Geographical Data information privacy
l Sharing of Big Geographical Data or spatiotemporal data
l GIS-based multi-criteria decision analysis or evaluation
l Multi-scale spatial data representations, data structures and algorithms
l Space-Time modeling
l Digital terrain analysis and modelling or Geological applications of digital terrain analysis
l Spatial Ecology: geospatial analysis to landscape or species
l Land change modeling: moving beyond projections
l WebGIS or CyberGIS: integrated and scalable geospatial software
