China Ecological Forum will be hosting a special session titled "Rio+20 and South-South Cooperation", with keynote speeches by Ms. Amina Mohamed, Deputy Executive Director of UNEP and UN Assistant Secretary-General, and Prof. Yanhua Liu, Counsellor at the Counsellors' Office of the State Council of China.
The special forum is focused on the new opportunities and challenges for South-South Cooperation and the ways in which China cooperates with other developing countries in a post Rio+20 era. The forum also aims to inspire the scientific community to enhance its support to informed decision-making for a green economy transition in developing countries.
