Glen Norcliffe is Professor Emeritus of Geography at York University in Toronto, Canada. His research focuses on the geographies of industry.His current research examines the Global Production Networks that connect Canada and China, with a particular interest in the role of trade shows as liminal spaces where these global trading networks are re-negotiated and re-configured. He also works on industrial restructuring in the Canadian resource periphery where many towns and regions are experiencing decline and de-industrialization.He will present four lectures as follows:
