Academic Forum on Regional Sustainable Development of Northeast and Central Asia

“International Forum on Regional Sustainable Development of Northeast and Central Asia” will be held on June 8~11, 2011 in the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of Chinese Academy of Sciences(IGSNRR,CAS). The Main topics of the forum include: (1)Global change and regional response and adaptation in Northeast and Central Asia, (2)Land use and land cover change（LUCC）in Northeast and Central Asia, (3) Evolution and structure of ecosystem in Northeast and Central Asia, (4)Water resources and environment change and its sustainable use, (5)Applications of information technology in sustainable development, (6) Sustainable development patterns of regional economy and urbanization in Northeast and Central Asia. We sincerely welcome international experts and scholars to participate the forum.
