Academic Forum on Regional Sustainable Development of Northeast and Central Asia is open
Beijing, P.R. China, June 3 to 6, 2011
Ⅰ Purpose
Northeast and Central Asia is the region sensitively response to global change. Countries in this region have close relationships in geo-ecology, geo-resources and geo-economy and desire intensely to seek cooperation on resources, environment and sustainable development. In recent years, scientists from related countries have strengthened the comprehensive researches on this region. The scientific institutes from China, Russia, Mongolia, Japan, Korea and Uzbekistan have founded long-term scientific cooperation relationships and made impressive progresses in the fields of resources, environment and sustainable development of Northeast and Central Asia. To promote the sustainable development of this region and intensify academic exchange and economic cooperation, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research(IGSNRR) of Chinese Academy of sciences(CAS) will host “International Forum on Regional Sustainable Development of Northeast and Central Asia”, sincerely welcome international experts and scholars to participate the forum.
