Vacancy Announcement for GEF SSC-EBA Project

A joint UNEP and NDRC global project “Enhancing Capacity, Knowledge and Technology Support to Build Climate Resilience of Vulnerable Developing Countries” funded through GEF’s Special Climate Change Fund (GEF-SCCF) was officially launched on April 22, 2013 in Beijing, China. This project will build resilience in vulnerable developing countries using an ecosystem based adaptation (EBA) by increasing institutional capacity, mobilizing knowledge and transferring appropriate best-practice adaptation technologies. The project will transfer EBA technologies to 3 pilot countries: Mauritania, Nepal and Seychelles. 

Now the Project Management Unit announces the Assistant Project Manager (full time project staff) and International Dry-land Adaptation Specialist (part-time consultant) positions for open competition.
