Instrument Name: Stable Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer

Instrument Model: Delta V Advantage

Instrument Introduction:

The stable isotope ratio mass spectrometer was produced by Thermo Finnigan Co. in USA, which includes two external equipments (Elemental Analyzer-Flash2000 and High Temperature Conversion Elemental Analyzer-TC/EA), a continuous flow interface (Conflo IV), and a host machine including a magnetic separator and ion acceptor. The C/N/S/H/O in the samples are transferred to CO2/N2/SO2/H2/CO in the external equipment, which are injected into the host machine through the Conflo for isotope analysis.

Application Areas:

The δD, δ18OH2O, δ18OSO42-, δ18OPO43-, δ13C, δ15N, δ34S in geological, environmental and ecological samples such as water, soil, gas, rocks and the extracts can be obtained.

Instrument Name: Portable Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer

Instrument Model: Hapsite ER

Instrument Introduction:

The HAPSITE portable gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer (GC/MS) uses a programmed set of instructions called “method”, which can measure the volatile and hazardous organic air pollutants of down to ppt magnitude. HAPSITE is particularly suitable for on-site testing, which can collect and analyze samples using its own carrier gas and internal standard gas source with available batteries work, and the results can be displayed and saved in the hard disk, downloaded to a USB flash disk or downloaded to a laptop via a data interface for analysis.

Instrument Name: High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Atomic Fluorescence Speciation Analysis System

Instrument Model: PSA 10.825 HPLC-AFS

Instrument Introduction:

PSA 10.825 HPLC-AFS was produced by P S Analytical Co. in UK for the measurement of trace and ultratrace hydrogenation occurring elements and their speciation analysis. The excitation light source of the instrument is a replaceable high-energy hollow cathode lamp or a low-pressure mercury lamp (Hg), and the detector is a solar blind photomultiplier. The innovative Multistage reflective fluorescent filter greatly reduces the original interference of impurities and improves the selectivity of arsenic (As), mercury (Hg), selenium (Se), antimony (Sb), technetium (Te) and bismuth (Bi). At the same time, the instrument can operate continuous hydrogenation occurrence or intermittent flow hydrogenation occurrence, providing powerful detection energy and analytical efficiency. The instrument consists of several components such as the Merlin Atomic Fluorescence Mercury Meter, the Excalibur Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometer, the Agilent 1200 Liquid Chromatograph, the Autosampler, etc.

Application Areas:

The analyses of total amount and morphological content of As, Hg, Se, Sb, Te and Bi etc. in water, soil, sediments, plants and foods.
